Medaderm Anatomy Ipad App

The Medaderm iPad app was meant to create an educational and fun to use experience that anyone could instantly pick up and learn about anatomy while also having advanced features like an interactive surgery tool for aspiring medical students. An interactive and rich experience that included three-dimensional models and interactive audio.

My role

While the idea was great, for the user experience there was much left to be desired to truly make it engaging. I was given a functional prototype to play with and analyze from which I devised plans, features and navigation models to make the app a much more interesting and user friendly in the form of a full user experience document. The document also contained wireframes for all the pages of the app and a content map of all the content missing from the prototype to complete it. After creating a full user experience document I worked closely with Jeremy Lindenmier from friendsofmine.tv to define and polish the style of all the pages in quite a short timeline.
